As a kid, I grew up adventuring in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Michigan. My family had a cabin in the UP where I spent most of my summers, learning to love the beauty of the natural world by being immersed in it more often than not.
After spending some time living in different parts of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Tennessee, I have found myself back in northern Wisconsin again, living within sight of the shores of Lake Superior in the Chequamegon Bay area.
I love to experience the outdoors in all weather, especially the abundant snow of winter in this area. I cross-country ski as much as possible, commute by e-bike around town, bike on the mountain biking trails in the area, and take my camera out into the woods, the dancing night sky, or floating the skies over the Big Lake via drone.
